Kathy Baughman – Principal, ComBlu

Kathy‘s passion is understanding how to bring customer, employee, and other stakeholder relationships beyond transactions to engagement. As such, she is a student of communities and understands their role in building sustainable WOM programs. Her skill is community design and member activation. Kathy is considered a visionary with the ability to see things through a unique lens. She helps clients create game changing approaches that get results.

Kathy is a charter member of the Word of Mouth Marketing Association and is a member of the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Committee. She also heads the WOM practice of Pinnacle Worldwide. She is a frequent speaker on the topic of community building, community-based word-of-mouth and sustainable WOM.

Steve Hershberger – Principal, ComBlu

Steve has deep expertise in customer evangelist identification and behavior. He can tell you how these consumers differ from merely loyal customers and how they can be used to predict the future needs and wants of your markets. Another great skill that Steve brings to the ComBlu community is a deep understanding of the network and amplifier effect of your customer evangelists. By using a sophisticated predictive modeling technique, he can build a pro forma that predicts with 80% accuracy how activated evangelists will impact sales.

Steve serves on several committees of the Word of Mouth Marketing Association including the Leadership Committee and the Ethics Committee. He is a serial entrepreneur, having built and sold many successful ventures.
