ComBlu is a charter member of the Word-of-Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA). ComBlu founder, Steve Hershberger, serves on the 2007 Leadership Committee and the Ethics Committee. ComBlu principals are all considered WOM thought leaders and are expert in the topics of community-based marketing, word-of-mouth marketing, the identification of advocates, community design, member activation and program measurement.

ComBlu is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Through its affiliation with Pinnacle Worldwide, it has offices in 60 cities around the world.
